I usually go to the triangle town mall location and I have to say, the staff there are great... they're really friendly and they know how to have fun w/ their customer... the food is good but their service is what keeps me coming back... hope they keep it up :)
- Pros: good customer service, good food & fast
- Cons: prices could be better
Watch your pie bake in a wood-fired oven at this national chain with global culinary influences.

In Short
Founded in Beverly Hills in 1985, these eateries with the trademark yellow, black and white color scheme have spread nationwide. The decor consists of simple wood and glass with roomy black leather booths. The thin-crust pizzas come with innovative toppings from Asia, Latin America and the Southwest; signature pizzas like the Original BBQ Chicken and Jamaican Jerk Chicken compete with old standbys like pepperoni and traditional cheese. Pastas, salads, soups and sandwiches round out the menu.
good pizza no suprises

California Pizza Kitchen finally made its way to RTP a few years ago-a welcome addition to the Southpoint shopping. The CPK Durham addition lives up to the chain name. For pizza it may seem pricey, but the unique combinations are delicious. The salads are enormous, hold the dressing to the side if you don't want it drenched. Take a friend and split a pizza and salad or appetizer. No good ol' southern sweet tea, but the lemonade is a tastey alternative. Be sure to get on the wait list as the line can be incredibly long. Sign up, do some quick shopping, eat, then catch the newest flick.
- Pros: tastey goodness
- Cons: cost, lines
Watch out, you will leave wanting more!

This place makes GREAT food, i thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I had the Fettucine and Garlic Cream Pasta with mushrooms and chicken. The complimentary bread, went very well with the sauce, and the Peach Lemonade, superb!
- Pros: Excellent Food
- Cons: My server was rather dull, but i guess you don't come for the service but the food.
EXCELLENT!!

The pizza here is amazing. Definitely on of the best non-NY style pizza places around. Try the pear and gorgonzola pizza, it's fantastic!! And the honey wheat dough is not to be missed!!
- Pros: Inexpensive, Good Parking, Excellent Food
great all around resturant

I couldn't even describe how wonderful of an experience I had at the southpoint location. We went in for a Thursday lunch and like the other reviewer sat at the bar. The server was extremely knowlegeable of the menu and recommended an excellent fett. pasta dish. This happened to be our second visit and will continue to return.
Unlike the other rating, we have been before with our infant and never had a problem with being seated. As with any resturant, one has to be more patient when you have a special seating request.
- Pros: clean dining area, clean restroom, baby changer
Gourmet Pizza gets a thumbs up
by tim2pac
Upon our first trip to Triangle Town Center we stopped by California Pizza Kitchen. We opted to sit at the counter (basically the bar), and eat our meal there. The pleasant suprise was that the counter gives a full view of the kitchen, so we were able to watch the pizzas being made and pulled from the oven. It was quite a show. We received excellent service...and of course our food was delicious. We recommend the Peking Duck Pizza, Chicken Tequila Fettucinne, and Singapore Shrimp Rolls.
- Pros: excellent service
- Cons: no reservations
CPK is Double OK

The most interesting and diverse flavors in the Triangle, and the crispiest crusts. You must try the Thai Chicken Pizza on Honey Wheat crust...it's a must eat! At least once a week.

Excellent lunch

CPK for lunch at 11:45. Server was great, never had to ask for tea refills. Had crusty, freshbaked bread while waiting, yum. The menu is extensive, something delicious for every taste. Atmosphere is bright, clean, busy and contemporary. We had a large BBQ chicken salad, beautifully presented/plenty enough to share. This was great! Then split a 5-cheese/tomato pizza. To the reviewer with the comments on seating w/highchairsstick to Golden Corral, Mac's or Ruby Tuesday and stop complaining just because busy places cannot easily accommodate your baby. Not every place is a good place for your child to be and its unfair to rate badly just cuz they didnt have a place to safely seat your baby. Lots of diners really dislike sitting next to a messy, noisy child.
- Pros: bbq chic salad, good service, good breads
- Cons: bit noisy
