"Over The Top"

My family gave me a gift certificate to Sheer Bliss for the holidays. At first I was a little skeptical because I usually frequent another local spa whenever I am in town. However, I was impressed. This place is out of this world. "Over the Top." Everyone 1st priorty there is to pamper and please. I not quite sure where the the owner found such a lovely combination but they really have their act together. Sheer Bliss can be a model spa for others around the world and back. They definately turned me around. Thanks.

absolutely love Kristie. she is excellent. she listens and cares about what I want. we worked together to create the perfect hair style for my face. she is grounded in excellent styling and coloring skills, yet she is also game for trying new things. I love her and want to keep her as my stylist for EVER.

Best Massage/Hair Care in Durham

The team at Sheer Bliss is Durham's best. From hair care to massage, my entire family goes to Sheer Bliss for services--this includes my husband and children. We enjoy massage and excellent hair care. Josie, Michael and Tim are those whom we have worked with at Sheer Bliss, but I know so many people who are clients of other stylists and service providers, and none of us would go elsewhere. Should you need any spa services and be close enough to Sheer Bliss for a drive, they are and should be your first choice.

Wonderful Service

I have been a client of the owner for 15+ years (even prior to the opening of the day spa). I can't imagine going anywhere else to have my hair done! The owner and all of the staff are very professional and make each client feel special. The atmosphere is wonderful and the range of services is great! I have had various spa services as well--many of which I was able to schedule when I walked in the door for the same day (after my hair appointment). The appointment staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. I have recommended Sheer Bliss to several of my firends and they have been pleased and have become long-term clients as well. If you are looking for a day of pampering--Sheer Bliss is the perfect place!

great facials

I got a facial this morning for the first time at Sheer Bliss. I just wanted to let you know that I am extremely pleased with the results. I have had facials many places and I generally end up with a red, splotchy and shiny face for the next 3 days or so. Kathy did such a great job with the extraction that the redness had disappeared within a few hours. So I was free of my blackheads and I had great looking skin! =)

So, thank you Sheer Bliss for the amazing service and wonderful experience. Keep it up! I will be sure to return for more,

Beware Safety Violations

Please don't go here! The owner of this business is a disgrace! She is filthy! She instructs her employees to re-use everything on everyone! This includes nail, hair and facial products! They double dip in wax because she says so! They re-use nail products on numerous people because she says so! When I asked the employee about it when I caught them doing it, she told me that the owner instructed them to do that to cut down on product cost. Also she stated that the owner instructs them that it is not neccessary to change it out each time, it's wasteful! As much as she charges for services it's the least she can do is to give me and everyone else something that hasn't been used on someone else! The owner is very disrespectful, and doesn't carry herself well at all! She curses like a sailor in front of customers, or sometimes when she is carrying on a conversation with her clients! I have been there twice as a client in 2 departments, and you could not pay me to go back there! Oh and if you go there make sure you check out their sinks and tubs, they are filthy! Anyone who doesn't notice how filthy this place is after reading this comment, obviously hasn't been pass the front door!

Fantastic Spa, Great Service

From the moment I call for my appointment, to walking in and being welcomed and offered a beverage, Sheer Bliss is nothing but fantastic.

Aruna makes even getting waxed a pleasant experience. Her pleasant demeanor and professional aura leave you comfortable and confident that you are getting the best wax as well as providing amazing facials.

Josie provides the most invigorating deep tissue massage. I frequently get massages, and Josie manages to find all the spots that need the extra attention. She managed to take me from a giant ball of knots to putty in her hands. Beyond being relaxing, the exceptionally therapeutic work she does, makes her a complete treasure. She also did a fantastic job on shaping and waxing my eyebrows.

All around, Sheer Bliss is exactly that! I highly recommend all of their services to anyone who desires a professional and relaxing experience.

My daughters gave me a gift certificate for a facial. I have had facials before, and they were very good, but this experience went way beyond good. Aruna was ready and waiting for me, carefully reviewed my needs, and delivered a great facial experience. I spent a very relaxing hour and highly recommend Aruna for her skill and delightful personality. You're the best!

Great relaxing massage

Great place for a relaxing massage with attention to detail and what works for you. Nice quiet, warm room with relaxing music. This was one of the best massages ever because my therapist (Josie) works to tailor the massage to the individal and focus just on them. She is extremely conscientious and has a passion for what she does which shows in the quality of the product she delivers.

The Greatest Day Spa In Durham Hands Down

I recently visited this Day Spa and couldn't believe the service. The stylist (Michael) was on time, very polite, offered me a beverage and really paid attention to my likes and dislikes regarding my hair. He gave me a new hairstyle and made some suggestions about my hair color. He made me feel so comfortable that i decided right then and there to get color and highlights and boy am I glad I did. I walked away with a new look and a new swagger in my step. Thank you Sheer Bliss, thank you Michael.
