Best food ever!

I love Lime and Basil. They have great food and it is a fun place to try new things. My favorites are the fresh summer rolls, the chicken curry, and coconut bubble tea. My friends always get pho and they love it too. I would eat there everyday if I could. Only thing is the service is a little slow some days. They need to schedule wait staff better.
- Pros: Great summer rolls.
- Cons: Not very personable wait staff...hours are strange.
Vietnamese coffee is delicious.

I live in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and I do not have a car. When I am sick, no matter what the weather, I find a way to get myself to Lime and Basil to let the steamy pho nurse my throat.
Yes, yes, I have had more authetic pho in "Vietnamtowns" from Orlando to Montreal, and I'm sure it could only get better if you left the continent, but if you're in Chapel Hill, there is absolutely no reason not to get it at Lime and Basil. It's cheap, it's delicious, and it's right here. Yay.
- Pros: Prices, pho, vietnamese coffee
- Cons: Some inconsistency from visit to visit
don't go

I have been living in Chapel Hill for more than 6 years.
If you expect "nice pho", just drive a little bit to Durham (Kim Son) or further to Raleigh (Pho Cali)
- Pros: downtown chapel hill
- Cons: that's not PHO

This is a great Vietnamese restaurant in Chapel Hill. We were especially looking for Pho as that is one our favorite lunch dishes, and we finally came across a perfect place for it. The food tasted very fresh. The summer rolls were great, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant felt welcoming.
If you are looking for great Vietnamese restaurant and a great bowl of Pho, go to Lime & Basil. You will not be disappointed
- Pros: Food, Service, Value
- Cons: Parking can be limited, can be crowded depending on time
best restaurant, hands down!

this is by far the best restaurant in chapel hill and definitely one of the best vietnamese restaurants i've ever been to! the food here is delicious! the summer rolls (and of course the peanut sauce) are to die for, and the pho (all of them) are so flavorful and filling! the stir fry dishes are absolutely amazing and the curry is the best i've had yet! nothing beats this restaurant in the area - i try to come at least once a week (twice if my schedule allows me to). the owner is so nice - he always comes out to check on the customers himself when the restaurant isn't too busy. the serving staff is nice and friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful!
it's definitely THE restaurant to check out if you're ever in the area; however, make sure you don't pull out an AMEX or Discover card because like most other places, they only take Visa or Mastercard.
- Pros: wonderful food, great prices
- Cons: little parking, busy on weekends
Love it!

Hands down the BEST restaurant in Chapel Hill. Yes the spring rolls are excellent but so are the summer rolls! Food is always fresh. Like others I've been recommended this place several times by many and have recommended it to many others and EVERYONE loves the food! Prices are great! Wait staff and manager are always friendly and smiling! The house special egg noodle soups my favorite! Great for all types of eaters!
- Pros: All the food and service
- Cons: small wait sometimes

I have been going to lime since it has opened. To be honest I can easily say its a great environment and fantastic food however I would be only half correct. Lime and Basil is at least one of the better restaurants in chapel Hill, at best its a fantastic Asian Restaurant stocked with great staff, very fresh and healthy gourmet food. A food jam packed with an individual flair of flavor by the restaurants owner and his staff. Ok perhaps he needs a few more tables but I don't think he realized he would be as busy or have such a loyal following as he does. Perhaps he can work on that. If you like Asian, and you like the authentic Soup Phao, Than you couldn't possible be unhappy as this restaurant has it down to a science. My Last Thought is to say that I have seen and experienced his complete dedication to his customers and his gracious concern to continue to strive to be the best he can and quite frankly I think he shall never fail.

I have been going to this restaurant 1 or two times per week since it opened and honestly been Very very Happy .
I absolutely love this restaurant and would recommend it to any one who enjoys fantastic food, great portions well worth their weight in gold, and service second to none. The entire staff at Lime & Basil are an outstanding group of passionate people bringing only the freshest and highest quality of food. I couldn't imagine anyone not thoroughly enjoying their authentic Phao, or any of their tantalizing menu of favorites to please any palate.

My husband and I crave Lime & Basil spring rolls and every friend I have introduced this place to loves the spring rolls. You could have a whole meal of them. Stuffed tofu is fantastic - may be outside the comfort zone of many - but it's delicious. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy.
- Pros: great for vegetarian/meat dishes
- Cons: limited seating sometimes...but worth the wait!
