surprising!!

I drove past Cashmir many times before stopping in. It always seemed so empty and that scared me. I went one weekday for the buffet and came away very impressed. The food exceeded my expectations by far. I found it less expensive and less crowded than the others.
- Pros: great buffet on weekdays. Less expensive. different.
- Cons: empty dining room.

The food is just bland. It tastes as if it were made 2 days ago. The location is terrible.
- Pros: nothing
- Cons: location, food, service
no good

The service was terrible when my friends and I went on a Friday night. The servers were unenthusiastic and the least bit interested in taking our orders. As for the food, it was nothing to write home about. Very average. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Our favorite Indian restaurant

My husband and I absolutely adore Kashmir. I've never eaten in, so I can't really speak to the buffet, but the take-out food has been uniformly excellent. It's way less greasy than many Indian places and the quality of ingredients (especially the meat) is very high. The Chicken Kashmiri is particularly awesome.
- Pros: Taste of food, Quality of ingredient
- Cons: A bit pricey, They need a website
delicious!

I don't agree with the other reviewer who said everything tastes alike - in our 4 visits we've not found this to be the case. Employees are unfailingly courteous and the mango lassi and spiced tea are delicious.
Sizzling specialties highlight a geographical mix of India's cuisines at this spicy Durham restaurant.

In Short
Not all of the dishes are from the same region of India, but they all satisfy a spicy palette. Entrees include South Indian chicken, lamb, seafood and vegetarian options as well as Indian-style soups and salads. The spice theme runs rampant throughout the menu, including the chef's mixed grill with dum biryani-spiced rice. Don't miss the large selection of typical Indian breads such as the chicken tikka nan. For dessert, try the mango ice cream.
Simply amazing food!

Everytime I eat at Kashmir the food is impeccable. Try the Somsa Chat Ragda Patties, which are listed as appetizers but I found they make a good meal with a side order of rice. The mango lassi is excellent. I've been to many Indian restaurants in the Triangle and Kashmir has the best Indian food around.
- Pros: Great taste, Courteous servers, Buffet w/much variety
