I am shocked someone is giving a bad review having NEVER been!

I feel for the people who had such a bad experience here.. but I am very, very suprised. I've had nothing but great experiences.. having gone with both of my children. I've never had anyone be anything less than friendly, kind, and helpful both on the phone and in person.. and not in a fake way at all. I've had four different girls do my scans and they were all just great. In fact, with my 2nd child on my first scan to find out the gender, they had me come back for free THREE times until they were totally 100% sure that it was in fact a girl. They guessed girl the two times before and were "ALMOST positive" but had us come back until they confirmed with certainty. The DVD is a recording of your whole session, so when you see them clicking on things and the "Increase Volume" box pops up, it's just the tech taking/printing still shots of your scan so you can have pictures too. Nothing is wrong with the DVD! And while the pictures that THEY print out for you right there are in fact small and in black and white (like what you get at the doc) they give you a CD with all of the images on it, just as you saw them on the screen there, and you can print those out in any size you wish - VERY clearly. YOU HAVE to listen to what they say!! When they say lots of water and only water, they say it for a reason! And yes, sometimes they still can't get the VERY BEST pictures that they use in their brochures for each person, because not all babies cooperate every time. Thats not something they control. This facility, and the one they were in 2 years ago, have both been SPOTLESS and they smell great too. The things the negative reviews described didn't sound like the same place that we went to FOUR times for our scans. We had nothing but a great experience with GREAT pictures (we followed the instructions) Sometimes they do run a bit behind, as do doctors offices, because people don't always arrive on time. It's worth the wait and worth the money. They do a GREAT job!!

Best 3d ultrasound ever

Trisha gave us suck wonderful pictures of our baby and made us feel right at home. It was the best experience ever. She had found a problem with my baby's heart and called my doctor after the ultrasound to let them know what she saw. My doctor called us immediately and seen us to Duke for another scan with a heart specialist, who confirmed with Trisha saw. Now when my baby girl is born we will be prepared if anything arises and the right doctors will be there to help. Thanks a million for being specially trained and schooled to determined this that was missed by my doctors office. You are the best. I will refer Prenatal Peek to everone I know...

• Pros: experienced staff who caught a problem with my baby's heart
• Cons:  none...wish they had been the people who scaned me first

Great Experience!

We just had our 3D/4D this past Friday. it was well worth the money. We paid for a 30 minute session but the tech gave us an hour because our baby's legs were in the way of a full head shot. The tech would have given us longer but I was tired. We did get some great face pictures of our baby, though.

Everyone was very friendly and seemed to get a big a kick out the whole experience as we did.

I read the reviews before out visit and almost backed out. I'm so glad I didn't. Maybe the staff has learned from past reviews but I have no complaints.

Told me a Girl, it's a BOY!

The tech at our doctor told us she thought we were having a boy, but the umbilical cord was in the way, so we paid for a scan here at 20 weeks. The lady here told me she was positive we were having a girl and printed pictures of it. She was SO WRONG! We had another scan at the hospital because I was bleeding and they told me my little boy was fine. LITTLE BOY! We have to replace everything from girl to boy stuff, and it's costing a lot of money. And yes, the pictures are small, black only, and the DVD does have pop up screens all over it. Wasted money.

I was actually thinking of using your services until I saw your response to your customers review. What happened to the customers always right. That is no way to do business. I can assure you that you will not get my business or anyone else that I know. Just because she wasn't happy with the results, she still gave you 3 stars. If I was her, I would change it to none.

THE BEST PLACE

i love my experience here and recommended to anyone. It took some time for my baby girl to turn and they was patient plus gave us more time for free. service was excellent. plus the packages are worth it i received a cd, pictures, photo album, dvd plus i had the summer special which included a 50 dollar value pack. I'm sure that i would be coming back the next time.

loved my experience

I went to Prenatal peek when I was 16weeks and 2days only because I just couldnt take not knowing the gender of my baby....I had to know!!! I was very pleased with their service. They were fast and gental. My baby was alittle stubborn and didnt want to move in the right directions and instead of giving up they took the extr time to wait for that right position. They got almost 40 pictures of my baby a 30 minute dvd and a cd with all the pictures on it so other family members could have copies. I plan on returning when Im in my 3rd trimester just to see what she looks like now!!! I would tell anyone about my great experience at prenatal peek!!!

Rushed, unclean and uncaring

Visiting the hubby's family in Durham, we decided to get our ultrasound here. We arrived 10 minutes early, they were 20 minutes late. The woman leaving was shaking her head, now I know why. After waiting, I was shown to a recliner for my scan, and sat down, putting my arm and sleeve in disgusting cold gel from the previous client. Our scan was rushed, the baby was curled up and the tech insisted on pushing on him, making him curl tighter. We were happy with what we saw, but she continued to agitate him. I REALLY didn't appreciate how she kept calling him stubborn. She asked me to turn side to side, which was uncomfortable for my back in this recliner. We paid for 30 minutes, our DVD was 23. The picture quality was poor to say the least, the baby looked like a playdoh object. I was very disappointed with the lots of pictures I received. Poor quality, all black and white. I was not offered a return visit that others write about, the tech seemed indifferent and ingenuine. I spoke to my midwife at Womack about it, she referred me to a place in Cary where she received her scan. My husband will be deployed and miss it. This has been such a let down. Ask around before you visit, wish I had.

Best experience ever is right.....

This was mt 1st experince doing the 4d ultrasound and it was amazing. My doctor @durham OB told me to go here and I am glad I did. The people are so nice and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. My little baby was amazing and stubborn at the same time. We did the special for 120.00 and got about 26 pictures and a cd and dvd . She printed extra pictures for the grandparents to have so I could keep all mine. They gave me a photo album and the most amazing stuff in te mommy gift package. Well worth the money......l will be back with my next baby for sure. My doctor told me to go to them because they were professional and well trained and he was right. She helped me understand the ultrasound pictures and showed me all my babies body parts. My husband finnaly was able to understand what he was looking at. Best place ever.

Great pictures and experience

We had the best time of our life here. My doctor and my friends recommened this place and they were right. Barbie did a grreat job explaining everthing and getting our little girl to turn and give us great pictures. I can't wait till she is born. We will be back to prenatal peek with our next child without a doubt....

• Pros: i like that they have been to school for ultrasound and not just someone doing them
• Cons: I had to wait 10 minutes past my appt. but it was worth the wait in the end
