Over priced and over rated

I have been a client at the Lavish Hair spa for two years and the owner Kito Jones is just plain greedy. She is very rude to her employees and isn't professional. She recently went up on her prices charging $95 for a relaxer. She even asks now that you keep a credit card on file. But her receptionst changes almost every two weeks. She also tried to charge tax on her services and that is unheard of. If you are looking for a great stylist in the area do not go to Lavish!! The polices change way too much. The owner has to be going through legal troubles beacause she just can't get it together

Exceptional! Beyond Compare!!

I have lived in major cities throughout the US and Kito Jones and her team at Lavish Hair Spa are without a doubt one of the best in the business! Kito has been my styIist for over seven years. One thing that has always been consistent is her professionalism, customer service and genuine concern about her clients. Ladies, we all know, hair is personal... VERY personal. Kito understands me and my hair. I once overheard her say, "I don't need to go to Hollywood because every person who sits in my chair is a star." If that's not the royal treatment, I don't know what is!

When Kito opened Lavish Hair Spa a number of years ago, she brought style, ambiance. top-notch stylists and a level of professionalism rarely seen. Yes, the prices at Lavish have recently increased. I knew it was bound to happen considering there has not been a price increase in over two years. I'm a firm believer in "You get what you pay for." For Lavish and Kito's services... the cost is worth it... and more! They are still competitively priced. THE TRUTH IS, IF I HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN EATING OUT AND GETTING MY HAIR DONE WITH KITO, I WOULD GO HUNGRY!!! The service is exceptional. Kito and her team are true professionals. I could pay less and go to a salon that looks and feels low budget but I'm worth more. I love living the Lavish lifestyle!

Wonderful Salon Experience!

On Wednesday, I went to Lavish for the first time upon the recommendation of my coworker.

I was completely blown away and impressed. My stylist Ashley let me know what needed to be done to my hair and gave me a style that looks great and easy to keep up.

I haven't seen my hair look this way in so long. I will not look any further--Lavish will be the place I will go to forever!!!

Lavish Hair Spa is the best!

I have been going to this hair salon since it opened its doors about three years now and have not been disappointed. The customer service, professionalism, and the care for your hair is bar none. Kito, Star, Ashley V., and Ashley S. are all great stylists. If you see one this week and see another one in two weeks, it is the same outstanding service. Lavish Hair Spa should be your only choice if you truly want top-notched services for your hair. They also do eyebrow waxing and eyelashes. It is worth the trip and money.

Best Hair Cut

I would definitely recommend Lavish Hair Spa to anyone looking to have their hair cut. My hair was shoulder length and began to break really bad in the back. I tried several salons in the triangle and would leave unsatisfied. I would say to myself ?my hair has no life,? ?this perm looks as if I did it myself,? etc?.blah blah blah and the search would continue. After searching the web I ran across Lavish Hair Spa and thought hum here are some favorable reviews. Let me give this Salon a call and so I did. I must say I am not easily impressed but was today. Ashley S did a magnificent job cutting my hair. Kudos to Ashley S! I walked into the salon looking a hot mess and walked out with a wonderful hair cut. Can you believe she did not relax my hair? And I do not have the best grade of hair. She washed, deep conditioned and cut my hair and I walked out looking terrific. My hair has not had this much body in years! Needless to say I will return. Thanks again Alisha S!! It is my understanding that all of the stylist are good but I only had the experience with Ashley S.

A True Spa Experience!

I have had many joyous salon experiences in all of the cities I have lived in-- Washington, DC, NY, and Atlanta. Now, I can put Lavish Hair Spa at the top of the list! All of the stylists are talented, professional, and friendly. I received so many compliments about my hair! The salon is very relaxing, upscale, and chic. The service was prompt. (no wait time before my appointment), the prices were reasonable, and the location was convenient (plenty of available, free parking). If you want a true spa experience, make an appointment at Lavish Hair Spa as soon as you can. You will NOT be disappointed.

Great Hair Salon Experience!

I've been to many hair salons in the NC area, and Lavish is the best by far! They are the utmost professionals, and really go the extra mile to take care of your hair. The staff is always friendly, lthere is ittle wait time (if any), and ambiance is relaxing. I recently move to the DC area, and I am struggling to find the same fit that I had their. I have natural hair, which requires extra attention, and the stylists there are also experienced in caring for natural hair. I've gone to 3 different stylists at Lavish, and each one did a great job. Although not overly pricey, whatever you spend at Lavish is money well spent!

Best Hair Salon Experience!!!!!

I just want to start off by saying If anyone is looking for a salon that offers exceptional service and professionalism this is the place to go. This salon/spa is a beautifully designed space. I made an appointment for 5pm, I got there at 4:51 and the service began! I was offered a beverage or snack. At first I thought this was a phoney greeting for new clients, but I was wrong! Everyone was greeted the same way. The shampoo was more like a 10 minute head massage (ask for Ivy she is good). As I waited briefly for my stylist to start the service on my hair I listedned to jazz play throuhout the speaker system. Roslyn assisted me with my hair and she did an amazing job! I am 7 1/2 months post with no relaxer, but when I left the salon...............My hair looked and felt amazing! And it continued to the next day. This was the best salon experience I have ever had. And I have over 12 years of cuts, colors, weaves, and relaxers through different salons from NY to NC. White or African American they get the job done. This is one of Durham's best kept secrets! You wont be sorry.
