Beautiful wedding cake, amazing customer service!

A Cake Tray made our beautiful wedding cake in July 2009. We were referred by a friend who told us that the owner, Tracy, can do anything we wanted and was a true, true artist. My friend was absolutely right! From the moment we began working with "A Cake Tray" we felt pampered and knew we were getting a one of a kind cake without the high prices of comparable bakeries. One of our favorite parts of the process were getting to taste a selection of unique flavors offered. We were given enough cake to have a cake tasting party with family members to make sure we picked the right selections for us. We were allowed to pick a different flavor for each layer--without any additional costs! That came in handy as it was extremely hard for us to decide which flavor was best. We also received an additional top layer for our first anniversary at no charge! All in all, we got anything and everything we wanted, at such a reasonable rate. We truly appreciate the service we were given and had many compliments about our beautiful wedding cake!

The ABSOLUTE best cakes on the East Coast

I had the wedding of my dreams on October 14, 2006 and Tracy (A Cake Tray) made the cake of my dreams. The cake was FABULOUS. My guests were trying to figure out if the cake was real becase it looked like a sculpture. It was a 4-tier cake with 3 ribbons around each tier that were my wedding colors and between the tiers were roses. It was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. I can't even put into words how wonderful the taste was. Each tier was a different flavor. I had no cake left from a cake that could feed 150 people. All of my guest were taking large portions home because it was so good. I actually saw a couple of my guest fussing because they didn't want the cake to be eaten up so they could take some home. I plan on using her for all of my special occation cakes. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend her.

Best service and affordability in town!

A Cake Tray baked my November 2006 wedding cake. Of all the bakers I called while wedding planning, A Cake Tray offered me the most affordable option for a traditional, three-tiered wedding cake! That was a huge load off my back! Tracy is a phenomenal pastry chef who impressed me with her vast repertoire of exquisite cakes and further offered to "make anything I desired." We were very happy with the perfect look and delicious taste of the cake. Furthermore, I can't imagine better and faster service than what I have received working with A Cake Tray!

Rolled icing bows. Flowers painstakingly molded from frosting. Cake layers etched in edible 24-karat gold or painted with a magical watercolor effect. A Cake Tray can probably make just about any elegant cake you can dream up. An extensive cake flavor selection includes Bailey's Irish Cream, brown-sugar pound and strawberry shortcake. Filling options include blackberry, apricot and white-chocolate ganache.

Great Cakes

I used A Cake Tray for my April 2001 wedding.

I used them for my mother's 50th birthday celebration.

And I am now using them for my 2 year old's birthday party.

Tracy is so friendly, and a joy to work with.

The cakes are absolutely delicious. My husband and I only got a couple of bites of the cake at our wedding b/c people kept talking to us. That's why we still use A Cake Tray--so we can get more cake!!

A Cake To Died For!

"A Cake Tray" made a wedding cake for my husband and I when we got married in March of 1999. Everyone at the wedding was asking who made this cake. The cake was really good! I chose a 4-tier cake with a different favor for each tier. Every one of my friends, who have married since I have, has used "A Cake Tray" for their wedding. I felt in love with the cakes because every cake I have ordered since then has been so good. "A Cake Tray" cakes are so moist and the icing is made of cream cheese or whip cream. The icing is not too sweet, which doesn't over kill the taste of the cake. There are over 20 different types of cake you could order. I recommend "A Cake Tray" for all your celebration.

Fun and Fantastic!!!

Tracey's cakes are the BEST! REALLY! And she's not just for weddings anymore! :)

I use her for birthday cakes from the serious to the wild and wacky--she really can do it all!

After working in hotels and seeing many. many happy brides either get to eat their cake (or get it smushed in their faces) from A Cake Tray, I know that when it comes time to plan mine- I'll be making a visit out to the Cake Tray Farm!

If you haven't made a decision yet about who's going to do your cake for any special occasion- DON'T until you've had a chance to taste some of the great choices form A Cake Tray!

Simply...the Best!

I don't remember how I found out about A Cake Tray, but I'm glad I did. From the first bite of cake I tried 9 years ago, I have been hooked! A Cake Tray has been the first phone call I've made when planning any type of event over the past few years, starting with my wedding and then my sisters wedding, and guests are always impressed with the cakes. Besides the cake itself, the best part of needing a cake is going to pick it up and visiting with Tracy (owner) for a few minutes--she's wonderful!

Absolutely Incredible

A Cake Tray was a delight to work with - extremely professional staff who helped me get through a time period fraught with anxiety. Also, by allowing us to have different flavours of cake for each layer, they allowed us to cater to multiple tastes. The cake was gorgeous, and Tracey's suggestion to put my favourite live flowers on it came out beautifully. Anytime anyone asks about wedding cakes (or cakes for any occasion actually) I tell them to call A Cake Tray.
