Best Dog Care. We have been using the Doggie Spa for almost ten years. Our four paw family member loves the spa, and the care is excellent. Facility employees really care about the animals. It is also clean, and rooms are much larger than a kennel. Make sure you bring your dogs favorite toys, blanket or pillow to sleep on (unless they are ok sleeping on a cement floor) and chews...it will feel like home to them. If you have special food, dog spa can store and provide for them as well. Facility is a good drive if coming from locations other than south Chapel Hill, but worth it (same for the price). Owner is direct, policies are very black and white with no shades of gray. However, owner is not rude, just running a business with a strong customer base. You make exceptions for one, you have to make them for all. Our dog is always well taken care of, no matter how our dog behaves or how long the stay is. If you are looking for solid, good care for your dog while you are away, Doggie Spa should be at the top of your list.…

Great place to board your dog. I have boarded our dog at this kennel at least 5 times. Not only is my dog obviously well cared for but so are the owners. I have either observed incredible customer service given to other pet owners or been on the receiving end. I love the personal service provided by asking that only one dog be checked in at a time. There's a sign asking owners to wait to enter the check in area if someone else is checking in. This really reduces my anxiety about lots of strange dogs meeting each other for the first time in a small place. When it's our turn we get all the attention we need and are never rushed. Excellent Dog Kennel. This is a great place to board your dog! The staff always treats my dog with great care - even giving him peanut butter to take his pills. He always comes back happy and tired from all his play times. I like that he gets a chance to play with big dogs, which he doesn't get at the dog park. I always feel okay about leaving him, knowing that he'll be in good hands. Piece of mind goes a long way. They are also extremely affordable especially for a big dog like mine that also needs his own food and medication. Their groomer is also really good. I always recommend this place to all my friends. It's a long drive, but it's totally worth it! It's best to book in advance because they fill up quickly.…

My Dog Loves Doggie Spa. This is a great place to bring your pet, whether it be for one day or one week. The staff is professional and always greets you and your pet with a smile; you can tell the staff and owner have a great love and compassion for animals and it shows. Doggie Spa & Day Care - Great Place for Dogs. I have boarded my dog for many years at Doggie Spa and would never take her any other place. The staff is professional and friendly. Best place in the area. The features of Doggie Spa are great. Lots of space, nice calm country setting, large outdoor yards. The staff is always nice, and greets me with a smile. And the care they give to my IGGY is tops. I would recommend it to everyone!…

Fun and Happy Place. I love the place. It is a bit of a drive from downtown, but it is worth it. I cannot even think about putting my dog into a cage or crate when I travel. It would be like 2 weeks in a storage warehouse.

Doggie Spa doesn't use cages, all the dogs get an indoor huge space to them self. And it is all climate controlled, so she is always comfortable. The outside play times are great for her! She is a small dog, and doesn't get to the dog park since she doesn't like big dogs. At Doggie Spa they put her with a gentle play group, so my girl is not afraid to socialize. She is not stressed when I pick her up.…

Dog play groups. I have 2 dogs, and it is hard to find a place that lets them board together, AND to get play time with other dogs. My dogs love to be around other dogs. And since one is very old (12+ YEARS) she has some special needs. She always comes back happy and alert, and obviously well cared for. MY dog loves it!!!!!. She cannot wait to get there. She howls down the entire driveway and jumps from the car and goes for the door! She loves the care the staff gives her! She is treated like a queen! Between being open EVERY day, and the ability to get my dog late at night. And the cost is very reasonable since play times are included.
