incredible food keeps us coming over and over

Med. Deli is the most delicious food, lovingly prepared with fresh great ingredients. From artichoke mousaka to the most incredible baba ganoush ever. And the pistacio baklava is unbelievable. We have called on Med. Deli to cater 2 huge celebrations and numerous big dinner parties. We, and our guests are always thrilled. Jamil, the owner is a master.

Boasting a perfect combination of quick, cheap, and good food, the Mediterranean Deli is one of Chapel Hill's most popular lunch and dinner spots. At any given time, their few tables are bound to be booked, but get a take-out platter and watch the world go by on Franklin Street. Its fluorescent, spacious interior is also home to a comprehensive retail market that carries Middle Eastern goods.

Mediterranean Deli catered a pre-wedding luncheon for 40 people at our home. They delivered everything at no extra charge, displayed artistically on their own colorful platters, with the hot food in chafing dishes. There was more than enough food, and everything was delicious. My guests were all raving. And then they came back and picked up the dishes later. Jamil was very accomodating (I changed the menu and the numbers several times) and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend them and will use them next time I entertain.

A wonderful place to eat for lunch or dinner. Nice, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, and the best Greek food I've ever had. Great selection of vegetarian dishes, especially.
