I love this place. Please don't go there and ruin it for me.

Yay smoking inside and patio, yay dusty shelves of whiskey, yay nice staff, boo any of you coming there and pissing me off. Let it remain a bar where service is easy to come by and I don't have to hear anyone say, "Thanks bra."

• Pros: don't you dare find this bar
• Cons: limited parking, hard to find

It's like hanging out on a friend's porch--a friend with 34 different scotches and an eclectic following.

Crawl out of your apartment, grab a pal or four, and go sit on a friend's porch. That's what a trip to this bar/patio is--laid-back and intimate. Swill a smooth beverage, play a board game and enjoy the night air on the large front porch of the bar. You'll pay about $5 for a mixed drink, but the selection is excellent, especially for such a small place.
