Get there early by Harry L. at InsiderPages

Elmo's is a great place for Sunday Brunch and if you get there a little late and find yourself waiting, you can have a cup of coffee and read the paper. The prices are good and the food is better.
Comfortable

My family and I have been coming to Elmos for the bad 2 years. I would give it 3 1/2 stars if that had been a choice. It usually decent food. I have had some great meals and I have had some horrible meals here. I come back because thet are very kid friendly and the staff is always nice. I also think it is a good value (if the meal was good) for the money. Usually you cannot go wrong with breakfast fare.
Good Serivce Poor Food, Poor Portion as well

Service was great! Food on the other hand was bad, so fare as the portions sizes. It's a diner not Burger King. After me and my family spent 30.00 dollars plus a good tip for the great service. We went and had to get something to eat at the local Cook Out. Which we was thinking, we should have just gone there all along. We would have spent half the money and would have been more satisfied none the less. The Kids Meal, if that is what you want to call it that. We order burger and applesauce, and oone with carrots. That was a big joke as well. Burger dry , nothing on it. Carrots dry no dipping sauce. Like I said good service bad food.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Service was great!
The best place for kids, and a huge menu
by tbrave at Citysearch
This is what a good old family restaurant is all about. They've got a huge menu, ranging from a turkey dinner with stuffing and mashed potatoes to breakfast anytime. I love this place. I wouldn't park in their dirt lot--just park down the street and walk a block or so. Also, don't expect to sit down right away, especially for breakfast on the weekends.
- Pros: Solid food, huge selection, great service
- Cons: It's so popular, expect to wait a while at peak times

This restaurant is wonderful. I was a skeptic at first but my friend took me there and changed my mind completely. Great food, Great service and Great prices. What more could you want for a cheap excellent lunch.
- Pros: Cheap good eats
- Cons: Parking-plan to get there before the regulars do for lunch
Great Food, Friendly Service

I just move from Atlanta and had a hard time finding good LOCAL places to eat before Elmo's I had been stuck with chain restaurants and fast food. Elmo's has great breakfast with a friendly staff and relax atmosfera. I have been 2 times and everything had been excelent. So far my favorite place to get breakfast. I recomend the grits, the blueberry panckages are delicious and their omelets to die for.
- Pros: Great Food, friendly Staff
- Cons: none
Great diner food

Good all-around diner food. There's something on the menu for everyone and the food isn't greasy or stale.
A classic diner serves traditional American cuisine with all the trimmings.

In Short
A front counter evokes Small Town, USA. Lone diners read the newspaper. Waiters chat with customers and whip up milk shakes. Kids occasionally run past, since it's one of the best spots in town to bring the family. Large windows and wood-plank floors make the space feel as old and preserved as the diner tradition itself. Comfort food, like meat loaf and roast, hamburgers and all-day breakfast, including omelets, waffles and pancakes, are this kitchen's forte.
- Pros: good comfort food
- Cons: busy

Good Diner Food, Great Service
by yt at Citysearch
The ambience of Elmo's is pretty much a modern, suburban diner with counter space and lots of tables. The menu is pretty standard, and the food is good, though not outstanding. However, it's great given the low prices, as well as the excellent service. The waitstaff are very friendly and give you just the right amount of attention. I've been here for breakfast several times, and really enjoy the breakfast burrito - a deal at $5.50 with homefries and beans. The only time they ever got my order wrong, they cheerfully rectified the mistake at no charge. While I find the food average, I'm happy to be a repeat customer given the prices and the good service.
- Pros: Prices, Service
Elmo's Diner Rules

I keep finding an excuse to come back to eat at Elmo's! Whether it is for the Vegi-Chili, the Trifecta, the incredible vegi-burger, the hamburgers or any one of their breakfasts... it doesn't matter. I've eaten there seven days a week for two weeks once and I could still find something new on the menu. Elmo's I love you and I am spreading the love across the U.S.A.!
