A preserve with more than 30 miles of trails for hiking, cycling and horseback riding.

In Short
Although the land is officially private, many of these trails and roads are open for hiking and biking. But, be sure to read posted signs for your own safety. Hit trails along New Hope Creek in the Korstian division. These trails wind along the creek, usually crossing paths with local fauna. Cyclists can try the Durham division, best accessible off Highway 751 near the campus, for dramatic elevation changes and plenty of open roads.

There are numerous trails - all full of suprises. Look out for deer in the morning and evening.
Great place for a walk or a bike. All wonderfully close to downtown Durham and Duke.
